First enclosure prep

I posted a while back about making a pygmy viv and am now almost done with all the prep work. Just need a couple more items and to put it all together and it'll be good to go. I've come to a crossroad about substrate though. I see coco fiber/eco earth mentioned most often for substrate use, but as of late I've noticed that pygmy viv builds are almost identical to dart frog viv's. So, the question I've got is this: since dart frog viv's use ABG mix as substrate, with leaf litter and some sphagnum moss on top, would that be usable for pygmy's as well? My only really concern with the eco earth is whether or not it will support the springtails I'd like to introduce. That and I feel like (this is just observation and could be so far off it's not funny) plants have a harder time taking root in straight eco earth. Any input would be greatly appreciated. :)

Finally started putting it all together. Still need some form of background but that's pretty much it. I'm just going to let the enclosure get nice and settled for a couple weeks while I tweak the misting schedule around until the humidity is where I want it.

There are 5 different philodendron species, 1 peperomia, a bromiliad, and a wandering jew in the center that's blown up growth wise since I got it. The substrate is an ABG mix with a lot of the sphagnum moss taken out, there is still some but not nearly as much as it came with. On top of the substrate is a layer of mixed leaves, both magnolia and oak. I have an artificial vine I plan on adding as well but I'm trying to figure out how I want to arrange it before I put it in there. Oh, also, there is a drainage layer/weed barrier. :)
