So today, I left the door of my chams cage open (as I do every day) after feeding and spraying. A few minutes later I walked back into the room and could not find him in his cage. I thought he was just hiding in the pothos, as he usually does, until I heard scratching sounds coming from the glass sliding door.
My cham was crawling along the sliding door scratching at the glass. At first I was stressing out because I didn't know how I would get him back into his cage (he HATES hands being near him
) but after a minute I decided that picking him up would be the only thing to do.
And it happened. I finally got to handle my cham. He was surely stressed out, but after I took him outside and let him crawl around on me in the sun, he settled down.
It was such an awesome experience to be able to handle him finally, even if it was by force. Damn, do those little claws pinch
I hope the experience wasn't too traumatizing for him, as I would love to take him out for natural sun all the time in the future.
Thanks to all the members on here for helping me raise a healthy and atractive
little cham!
