First clutch of eggs

Hi my female blue bar panther laid 33 eggs two weeks ago and all have gone mouldy but 9 is this normal? The ones left look large and white they look good, but I'm now thinking maybe my male didn't fertilise them very well! Or is it normal to have only a few eggs survive in the first clutch?
Help me please ?

Yea probably didn't fertilize all the eggs

The more you can let the pair get together the better. Also if she mated with a younger male sperm counts could be lower.

Its not such a bad thing having a small clutch. Less to take care of after hatching and less to try and find homes for.

Thanks guys but I couldn't leave them together any longer as she got really angry and actually went to bite him. How long does it take before they will show veins and pink colours when candled ? The male is about a year and a half !
