Hey everyone! This guy showed up today and he's still pretty warn out and nervous, but he's warming up I believe. I think in two days he'll be 6 months old.
Shortly after he was put in the cage I misted it and fed him about 5 small crickets dusted with calcium with D3 (he wasn't too hungry after the trip). My question is: since I don't have plain calcium without D3 at the moment, should I continue to supplement with that for the next few days until I have some plain calcium or just skip dusting every other day or so? Screameleons' "Manual" says to do D3 for indoor chams every other day for juveniles. Could that work?
Or is there any good gut-loads that I could easily get that would fill in for the calcium supplement for now?
I'm just a little concerned because I know the normal way for panthers is to do D3 and Multivitamin twice a month (separate) and calcium for every feeding.
Also he is indoors with not a lot of sun rays (Minnesota weather is kicking in), but has uvb and daylight bulbs in a screen cage.
Thanks in advance for any help!
