Okay this is what I was thinking. This may sound like a lot more work, but it will pay off as this is what would need to be done to make this cage ideal for a cham. You seem pretty handy so bare with me.
I am thinking with the big open front you should be good with ventilation keeping the sides closed. First step I would do would be to remove that step that you added in there and drill some holes, or rig some kind of drainage in the bottom to allow water to channel out somehow. Then you definately need to seal it good. I would go to Home Depot and explain to one of the wood guys the type of wood you used and what you are planning on doing. Be sure to express that it is going to be receiving a lot of daily misting so you want something as heavy duty as possible. It is good that you don't have your cham yet so that you can do this and allow all the time needed to air that sucker out. I can't really tell how you have the lighting mounted, but just make sure that it is not inside, or accessible from, the cage area at all. Then you can start decorating with plants, wood, biovines, but just make sure that you don't have anything loose that could be eaten/ingested that wasn't meant to be. Use plants from the safe plant list here on the site so that they can eat them if they wanted to. Personally if I had the space like in that cage with that frame I would secure platforms from the side walls, and the back, to allow plants to sit on, and stay up off the ground. It is really nice when you can have your plants up off the ground as it makes cleaning the cage a breeze. You could even get creative and screw some wood pieces to the walls for decoration.
With this cage you will definately want to make sure you keep it in a room that receives a lot of ventilation. Maybe keep an ocilating fan near by, but not blowing right at the Cham. Fresh air is important for a Chams health.
You can definately get creative here..But with all the hard work you are putting in you should definately make sure you are designing something that is that works, and will keep you and your cham happy for a long time. Consider everything a Cham cage needs, and get crazy from there.
Sorry for the long post...Hope that helped give you some ideas.
