I finally was able to get my hands on a pod of silkworms,
They looks pretty weird yo close. Coast silkworms had them available last week if anyone is interested

Since oughtn't pod do I still have to transfer them out into a plastic bin, and reintroduce them to the up or??? Anyone know how to care for these little guys?

I just stick them in a little shoe-box sized tote with a mesh liner and feed them. I don't put a lid on them and they usually stay in their box. They're pretty tough. They are no trouble at all, my favorite feeder. Coastal Silkworms has lots of information on their web site. I buy a farily large amount of dry silk worm food all at once since I have to pay for shipping and order eggs regularly. Eggs are shipped for free.
