This one shows his size better. The thermomiter is a couple of degrees off/cold. I tested it with a temp probe. Knowing it's 4 degrees off gives me an acurate reading.

I wanted to try a couple with the flash on....big mistake!

He started puffing up after the first flash.

Then he let out his pi$$ed colors and started hissing at the digicam.

This lil man is pretty docile. He has yet to ever hiss or gape at me. He usually just trys to get away from me. Nedless to say...no more flash photography. Pitty you have to peeve them off to get to see these colors.

Any one else's Chams get all upset at the use of the flash?

Yeah I'll get some later today. ATM I'm doing water changes on my fish tanks..All 8 of em...so it may be a lil bit.

Seriously did you really feel the need to quote me? You just made this page ridiculously long.

Thanks, I know I'm happy with him.

No real plants ATM. I have a baby ficcus and a couple of pothos sitting outside. I bought them this past weekend from Home Depot. The dang leaves are covered in a fine white powder that doesn't wash off. So I'm letting them sit outside a wile and spraying them down a couple of times a day tryng to get this crap off. I can only guess that it's some sort of pesticide, but I'm not sure. I figure it's better safe than sorry.

I always find doing water changes relaxing :)

I took these between fills. It takes a minute to put 60 gals back in a big tank!! LOL

This is his habitat. It's an ExoTerra 18/18/24. This is just his temporary home and location as I'm in the middle of redecorating this room.

Just to show ya'll the fan, I spoke of in an earlier thread. The lights are like this. Back left is basking, front right compact floro for extra light. Reptisun 5.0 should be here today or tomorrow. (He's been getting supplemented with a light sprinkle of Cal powder with D3 every meal)

I placed the fan pointing down into a spot that he never uses. He's usually up on the right side in the Ivy. It gives off a gentle breeze in that corner.

A better shot of his basking tree. I took a piece of blasted vine and attached it to a fake rock meant for a fish tank. Then I wrapped it with fake Ivy and attached the bendy vines with zip ties. It's neat to watch him eat. He hangs by his hind legs and stretches down to the bowl on the left and ZAP!l Lunch

Your cham is probably getting big enough for a nice big screen enclosure. As everyone else is going to tell you glass is bad. I HAD the same set up right down to the fan and i know the fan really dries things out. Not the best way to go. Also, these cages have no drainage so unless you aren't watering and misting enough you are going to have to swop out the news paper for new everyday. That would be stressful on the cham and you. Just my two cents.

these cages have no drainage

Got that coverd. Dripper is the container on the top and if you look in the first pic of the enclosure, on the right you will see the same kind of container set up to catch the drops. I have the plants set up so that they drip down the plants and right into the dish.

He's only 4-5 inches STV. He'd get lost in the 24/24/48 he's getting when he gets bigger. This one will have to do as I am not buying 3 vivs for him. 2 will have to be enough.

I will probably put him in the bigger one sooner rather than later as I know glass isn't the best. Still I'd want him to be much bigger. I'm thinking at least 6 months old. He's only 3 months now.
