Finally on my way to more insects!!

I get that James... sadly some insects and lizards can't coexist in an enclosed system. If it was the Amazon it would make more sense since the BSFL would likely be able to survive all year round and the flies would likely be able to produce in most areas all year round.... though idk if they even have them there. There aren't tons of insects out there yet sadly @Angelwolf but I will upload some pics of what has been done so far
 
So we still are organizing the stuff that isn't mine, and we have a bunch outside to go through and throw put but that's mom's old paperwork or nursing magazines that are now obsolete. Everything but certain foods like my rodent stuff and the bird stuff is ready on my side except the need for more shelves and my chest freezer etc.

XD why?

The shelves in the end will give me 960 feet of length to work with, not including depth at all.
 
Does it XD? What does it tell you? Most of the stuff I got rid of was usable animal stuff and will be donated to goodwill, some of the stuff I threw out I won't allow to be donated because most of it came with rescues and is not healthy for them and so will not endorse it's use. It wasn't really "trash" though.... just stuff I deemed useless.
 
Lol XD sorry can't help ya there.... But there are only two women and several animals living in our house.... XD maybe that's why?
 
Here's a peek at my garage and my current "project". I'm building an outdoor enclosure for Echo. Slowly...but surely...
 
So as I was cleaning up the garage etc, I was able to find lots of usable enclosures for more aggressive smaller species of mantids, or larger and younger aggressive species because it would give them a safe environment away from each other and they are large enough to house most medium sized mantids. I also have some nice sized enclosures for smaller colonies of communal species of mantids, and I already have one enclosure I will be using for a group of new phasmids when I settle on the species.
 
In the end when I settle on my shelves that I will buy etc, I will have 1325 feet or more designated to just the insects, with some given to my other animal food and bedding, and the dehydrator of course. I am so so excited. I can't wait to fill it up with tons of feeders and other insects. I can finally have my predatory beetles <3
 
I am really looking forward to setting up the BSFL soon, it will likely be a while until they can be sold etc, but I will be working with them and testing things out. I have figured out a way to raise them inside without any issue.
 
So the footage has changed a smidge, had realized I forgot to switch some out. So I have around 1100 feet to use for purely insects, not including anything I may keep on the ground, which the super worms I have are already kept there. And I will have space in a couple other places for smaller bins of insects as well on the floor.
