Finally looking healthy!

Looks like he had MBD... what did you do to correct this? he does look 'good'.

He has awful MBD hence why i took him on. He's on a combo of calcium and calcium w. D3 supplements and it's going well! He's not at a maintenance level yet, still building the levels up and working to improve bone density and such. It's going to be a while before he's at a good maintenance level.

Amanda you have done a super job with him so far! He is a lucky guy that you adopted him!!

Thanks, I like to think so! I'm frequently reminded that with my £200 vets bill after 6 weeks, and buying a £200 new viv next week, I could have bought a nice healthy cham - but this is much more rewarding! :D

awesome! What kind of lighting are you using for him? The lighting and supplements will help him recover quickly. I am sure it's a bit too cool in the UK to put him outside.... but maybe if it's a warmer sunny day you can take him outside on a branch and let him bask in the sun. He will love it!

Way too cold here at the moment, but im looking at a flat on tuesday that has a garden JUST for him!

He has a stupid coil bulb at the moment, but is getting all his new gear next week - going to the reptile place on monday to buy all the bits and order his new viv for collection wednesday - I can't wait! I'm more excited than he is :p

That is great! I am sure he'll be happy in his new home. Remember to try and buy a linear Zoo Med. If you are getting a tall cage, buy a 10.0 lamp. :) If you can find a dual lamp fixture, put a UVB in one lamp position and a 6500K color temp lamp in the other position. The 6500K will help the plants stay alive. Also remember that UVB does not transmit through glass or plastic. :o

yeah I'm using all my DIY skills (which isnt many!) to work out how to attach the UV bulb inside and stop him climbing on it and stuff - this little guy is hard work!
