So my girl Julia finally laid her eggs, she went receptive once....then lost hose colors, went receptive again then i saw her gravity colors. Last night i got home and i went to check on my two scale kids. One was sleeping (my jacksons) and my female Vieled....I couldn't find her, i looked all over and I couldn't find her. Low and behold i see her tail in the air in the laying bin and she's digging up dirt O_O i did not expect that just randomly, thankfully i was already prepared. So i set up a infrared camera and checked on her to make sure her hole didn't collapse or that she was okay. In the morning i woke up and she was still head first, then i saw her tail go in and she swung around and assumed the position, after 3 hours she was covering her hole and now she back on her stick under her heating lamp. I was ready with water and fresh gutloaded crickets i dumped 10 crickets in her cup and she went eat about 6 then she walked under her heating lamp. My main question, is she is super dirty from digging all night, she hates when i hand mist her so what's the best coarse of action to get her "clean" or do i just leave her as is? She does have her automatic mister like usually. Also when's a good time to take the bin out and look for the eggs, i can def see shes skinnier. THanks
