finally figured out how to stop my babies from walking on the roof

I am always so worried about my babies walking on the roof of their cage- getting stuck or burned by the light - or falling- soooooooo everyone got new cages makeovers today - as I watched the babies, it dawned on me, I use shipping tape to keep the crickets from getting out- so I put a band all the way around the top of the screen cage- they will go right to it, a few put a foot on it, but NOT ONE was able to get on the roof of the cage the cage on the left is the baby cage- you can hardly see the tape - and it works great -

Genius! It always makes me sad when I see babies clinging to the roof for the best spot for heat and they end up catapulting their brother or sister to the bottom of the cage.

LOL- well, you could buy the post office shipping tape, that is WAY over priced
but really- do get a good one, it MUST NOT come lose or it could snag a baby, but mine has not moved at all, it even holds up to the mist
