So know this is a small feat but I thought I'd try some butterworms and a hornworm today to see if I could get my guys to eat anything other than crickets. Zuri ate a butterworm!! FINALLY!!

Also, Teller ate a butterworm and a hornworm and Pearl ate 2 butterworms! Asha is still afraid of them lol

Now that my guys are showing an interest in worms, how often do you guys feed them? I'd like to get my hands on some silks, but they're really hard to find up here in Ontario. I'll definitely stock up on hornworms though now that I have a Cham that will eat them. It seems so minuscule but ever since I got them, they were only interested in crickets, so I'm pretty much walking on air right now!:D

There's a woman named Annie they call her the worm lady, I know her husband does deliveries out past toronto I could PM you her #

Chams can easily become worm addicted. Trust me, a crackhead wormhead is something you don't want to see. Your chams will sell everything you own, for one more hit. Seriously, you can feed the silkies more than the others. Butterworms and hornworms should be treats limited to a couple a week. Hornworms are good to rehydrate a cham. Superworms are good for a couple, maybe twice a week. Silkies can be a big part of their diet, as they are high in Ca. I only offer butterworms once a month, hornworms twice a month, superworms once a week, and silkies whenever I have them. I am little more cautious than some. The worms are also great at getting a stubborn cham to eat.

Good to know! My guys are all small even when full grown so supers are much too big for them. I did notice there is a small company that sells silks and I'm going to get in touch with them and see if I can get some there on a regular basis. I've scoured so many shops in the area and no one has any! Its also hard to get hornworms small enough for them since they grow so fast! My local guy is going to try and get pheonix worms for me this week so that'd be awesome too. I agree about getting a stubborn cham to eat with butterworms. Zuri (one of my sternfeldi) has been in poor health for a while and hasn't eaten in a few days due to an enclosure revamp and stress, and she snatched up a butterworm almost as quick as I put it down! I couldn't believe it!
