So I placed a few more vines and broke out the old exo terra lights I had for a frog setup , put a couple of new 5.0 UVB bulbs in it , and covered the plant soil with mesh and tape and moss , one question I do have , is two bulbs for UVB to much? I was thinking of putting one on each end and the heat light in the center or closer to the left side , I'm still not sure what type of chameleon I want but I'm leaning toward a veiled do to the fact that alot of people till me to get one if I'm new to chameleons does the lighting have to be different for different chameleon types ? Getting excited , reptile expo is in Edmonton AB, May25-26 don't know if I can wait that long lol.

one uvb is generally what we all use and then a basking light. Just a regular housebulb will do for that. You can use two of those if you wish, depending on the size of your cage(if it is large) to brighten up the cage and also to give additional basking spot. You might want to consider using a 6500K growlight instead of the second uvb to help your plants grow.

Just a 60w bulb or bigger? ya this light had grow lights in it ,dart frogs require no special lighting really so I had lots of plants in their tank, that's what I'll do , keep the UVB to thd left and grow light over the ficus

well depends on the age, the over temp of your house...etc. If you get a male veild( I do not own one) but just know from reading on here, people bask the babies/juvies in the low 80's. The adults the high 80's. So depends on what a 60 watt will bring the temp to in your house. You can play around with it and try higher or lower wattage. Be sure to have a branch or vine where you chameleon can bask under the uvb light also.
