Hey guys and girls,

Just after a little advice as i havent been able to find any info

I went shopping yesterday and saw a really nice looking fig tree, it was small, i thought i could pot it up and use it as a sunning tree. The leaves would provide nice cover and the branches looked strong and sturdy.

So would a fig tree be ok?

If not, could you recommend a nice tree that wouldnt mind being potted.

I'm in the UK btw, so it'd have to withstand our temperamental weather

EDIT: My brain froze up, do you have a common fig, weeping fig.. do you know the common name or is "fig tree" it? I don't believe they will be able to stand your cold winters, but you won't be taking your chameleon outside anyways, so if you could move it in for that time being you should be fine.

Sorry guys

We have a ficus tree in our enclosure, it might be able to survive inside our house but it wouldnt live very long in the garden!

The Fig is a fruit tree

:D
