There's a fig newton tree that I found. Are the branches from it ok to put in my chams cage? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Fig trees (newtons are the cookies!) have tasty fruits, but the milky sap their branches and leaves leak contains a latex based irritant, so you probably dont want to risk it

general rule of thumb, anything with a white milky sap is probably bad
