I'm new to keeping chameleons (getting my first on Monday - Flap-necked) , and I've heard from lots of sources that females can/will lay eggs even if they haven't been fertalised. As my cham is female can someone give me some information on this?
Yes-chameleons will lay eggs even when not being bred. They can do this as young as 4-5 months in some cases. The best thing to do is at 4-5 months put in a laying box in the case they need to lay eggs. This prevents egg binding.
