Female??

I am pretty sure this pygmy is a female but I doubt that judgment sometimes. What do you all think? Sorry about the crappy picture.

Yeah, a better pic would help. I can't tell what is actually the tail and what is shadow/ polka dot background.

i am not the most knowledgeable on the subject, but that looks likes my Female Brev. My male is not as round and has a more colouration. also the females tails are smaller i understand.

my pics aren't that good either have to get some better ones soon in there new enclosure.
hopefully some people who have more experience will answer. I know it's not the easiest species to distinguish from.

Here are some better ones. Her tail look inbetween a female and a male. She gets striped colorations often but never the yellow eye turrets. And she has been with another female and no mating occured.

ridges on back , longer tail and shape of the body..

This guy is shedding but its an example of a young male

It just seems like all the other males I have seen show yellow turrets at times and it has never tried any mating or anything with the other female.
