Female Vieled Worrying Me ( photo)

I've had Jade for several months now. She was just this tiny 2-3 month old baby when I got her. She's my first cham, but I have had and do have other reptiles. I'm unsure exactly if she is ill or just going through a rougher than normal shed. Her past sheds she gets a bit run down, little bit darker and slows down on the eating. For the past 3-4 days she's been really dark (photo) looks a bit dehydrated but she still has most of her apatite. I've been misting her 3+ times a day. She has a dripper as well, uv bulb, basking area (about 85-90f, depends on how warms it is on any given day). She's in a 4' tall x 20d x 30w exotera mesh enclosure. Lots of ventilation. She has many branches and vines of different sizes. Fake tree as well that is held up by a very Large/deep pot with safe play sand kept damp at all times incase she needs to lay, she's getting around that age I believe. She usually fairly active but spends a lot of time basking. For the past 3-4 days tho, she been dark like in the pic and keeps herself tucked away in a corner on the cool end of her enclosure. Her under belly and arms looks like they just have the grey dull look of shedding and it's been a bit since her last one but she's acting way more stressed out and ill than her usual sheds. Her not spending most of the day basking is the dead give away in her behaviour. Am I just being a paranoid mommy! How does she look to u guys? I'm Kindda worried. Or u think she's just going through a really tough shed this go around?

Jade looks ok to me. Do you have a laying bin set up for her? It's possible she is ready to lay eggs. Also, can you get a pic of her back feet from behind?

Yes I have a laying bin. As I mentioned in my original post, it's a very large and deep flower pot with her fake tree planted in it. With safe play sand kept damp at all times.
And here r the backs of her feet? :p

Has she worn down a couple of her toenails? For a monitor I have a 32" flat screen, and it looks like she is missing or has badly worn some nails. That is not related to her possible problem, just something I may be seeing, I am not sure.

She does have the colors of a shed coming on. As long as she eats, drinks and poops, I think you are ok.

Nope, her nails are fine, crazy sharp too! On all 4 feet :) Could be the angle of the photo perhaps. She has a crazy strong grip too, so her nails are kindda sinking into my skin lol

I'd say just keep misting and monitoring her. She looks okay to me! Please keep us updated.

This morning she seems to be acting ok. She isn't as dark now either. Yesterday I moved the heat lamp to the corner that she had been hiding out in all day and that seemed to be maybe what she wanted. She was rubbing her face last night too, so she was just having a rough day yesterday getting ready to shed I think. She really had me worried cause that was quite out of the norm behavior for her.

Sorry, I didn't catch that. Just wanted to make sure she was definitely a female, so that needing to lay is a possible diagnosis. I don't see anything wrong with her, sometimes they just go dark like that, and especially if they're basking outside. You may also want to make the tree separate from the laying bin, unless she's laid in it before without a problem.
