Hi, i have a male and female yemen, my male is growing like theres no tomorrow but my female (who is a month or 2 older than him) is tiny and about 3rd of his size.
She moves around happily and is eating well but she doesnt seem to put on any more than a gram a week, is this normal?
Thanks
Kat

Are they housed together? If so then the male is probably very dominant, therefore she won't be able to get enough food. Chameleons really do need a vivarium each as they are much happier when kept on their own. Also, he wilkl sooner or later pester her to mate a lot too, and all this stress will be making her ill.

Please fill in the help form as suggested already.

Hi, the chameleons are not housed together so dont see that this is stress related. She seems to be eating quite a lot......

If the poop/urate seems hard compared to the male, she might not be getting enough water.

Can she see the male at all?

What exact supplement do you use? Do you use a vitamin powder? What's in the bug jel and the bug grub??

The poo seems the same as the male and ive seen them both drinking so dont think its dehydration. She cant see the male at all.
Im using vetark nutrobal as the calcium and vitamin powder.
The bug grub and gel are prorep
