History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you. She was normal for about three weeks..she shed the first week I had her then again a month later or so..and since then she has been not eating not roaming her cage and she kept her eyes shut..her eyes were actually the first thing I noticed. .she kept rubbing them on everything and grabbing at them..buldging them out then back in..I figured she maybe had skin left and she was trying to get it off..then her eyes stayed shut..figured she was either dehydrated or scrached them or something
.. now about a month later she is starting to open them back up..

Cage Info:

Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity? I mist throughout the day..again I haven't been measuring it.
Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind? Cant remember what its called but I checked when I bought it to make sure it was safe
. And pothos
Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor? Livingroom, on a bookshelf. Not super high traffic but we are in the room most of the time and there is plenty of talking and tv or music noise...nothing too loud though. A ceiling fan but we have high ceilings and its not on all the time.
Location - Where are you geographically located?
Central Valley, CA
Current Problem - The current problem you are concerned about. My female veiled is not eating and hasn't been eating on her own for over a month now!! I have force fed her about 4times and she has pooped it out the next day each time. She is awake during the day and moves around a lite bit but stays in the same area. .she does not go to her food area at all and doesn't seem to be looking for food either..she had her eyes closed since it started happening but within the last week they are opening back up.. she doesn't seem to mind me handling her at all.. she has good grip..tail curls good and has good color..she looks thinner but not too much. Doesnt look like she has eggs..I did try putting her in a bin to see if that is maybe what she needed, left her there overnight but nothing..just scratched at the walls... im not sure whats wrong.. any info would be appreciated. Oh and this all started after her second shed with me. I will submit photos

How old is she?

You need to know the cage temperature...especially in the basking area. Appropriate temperatures allow for proper digestion and thus indirectly in the nutrient absorption. If the temperature. Isn't right she won't digest her food so she won't be hungry.

You need to dust the insects just before feeding them to the chameleon with a phosphorous - free calcium powder at most feedings to help make up for the usually poor ratio of calcium to phosphorous found in most feeder insects.

It's important to dust twice a month with a phosphorous - free calcium / D3 powder to ensure that the chameleon gets some D3 without overdosing it and leaving the chameleon to produce the rest of the D3 from its exposure to the UVB light. D3 produced from exposure to UVB won't likely build up in the system like D3 from supplements can as long as the chameleon can move in and out of the UVB when it wants to.

It's also important to dust twice a month with a vitamin powder that contains a beta carotene ( prOformed ) source of vitamin A. PrOformed sources of vitamin A cannot build up in the system and lead to overdoses like prEformed sources can and this leaves it up to you to decide whether the chameleon needs prEformed or not.

I honestly do not know how old she is.. im guessing about 6-8 months maybe.. I bought her from a pet store and they just said juvenile. .I have had her less than three months..she has shed twice. Im having a hard time figuring out how to post photos..I got two uploaded but cant seem to post them

Yeah I guess so..at least lately..she does get up and moves around my hands..grips and climbs my fingers but like I said, while she is in her home she stays mainly still and remains in the same area. been about a month already of this behavior. She used to go all around and eat all throughout the day.

She's not showings mustardy colored splotches that a sexually mature female would show.

Thank you..that I know..she turned dark because I had just misted in there and I had my phone in her face trying to get a picture. .she is usually a light green. .even when I handle her. I think she knows I am trying to help her, she even climbs on me when I put my hand to her..I never just grab her.
