Her eye is still closed and looks the same but her behaviour is better. She is now a bright lime green and after a week of offering food she ate. We also took her out for some natural sunlight. She is also exploring much more.

Unfortunately we might have to wait till the weekend for a vet visit.

I would keep doing long mistings with her... Do you have a pressurized spray bottle? You can put her on a plant outside or in the shower and just mist for like 5 minutes. See if it triggers her trying to clear it on her own.

Yes I have a pressurized spray bottle and a mist king coming soon. I will give her more long mists thank you

It may take a few times for her to be able to clear it. I would do this outside on a plant or in the bathtub on a plant so you do not saturate and up the humidity in her cage.

Yeah she was outside. My parents are taking her to the vet Friday morning

In the last 2 days we’ve done it for 4 times each for like 5 mins each time

I’m not really sure. She turns away and closes both eyes. She has a vet appointment in 19hrs

Vet appointment went well they flushed it and it opened but is still a bit wonky they gave us drops to giver her twice a day and said use it for a week and she should be fine. She is doing better

Glad she’s doing better. Probably just has some residual irritation that needs to heal.

Good news she has had they eye drops (2 individual drops twice a day,so 4 a day) and is doing great. her eye is basically completely fine now. we wont have to go back to the vet and will stop using the drops soon and will use sand next time!!
