Hello there. I have a female veiled whos going on 2 years old i believe and shes never been any color but a dark green with blackish markings. Lately shes been brighter green with bright bright orange markings which shes never had sinse ive got her. Shes never been introduced to a male. Is she just showing vivid colors because shes older or is something else going on? Ive placed her in a lay bin several times throughout the time ive had her but shes never layed any infertile eggs.

Is there any way you can post a picture of her? Sounds like she's showing receptive colors.

I would recommend keeping a laying bin in her enclosure at all times....just in case. This video might help explain her colors.
