Female Panthers sorta rescue.

Well.....here we are again, with two female panthers. We have a partial back story. The guy got a job traveling and wasn't able to take proper care. They are both around 1 1/2 years we think. 24grams and 29 grams. Good grips but emaciated and dehydrated, though between the amount they drank last night and today their poo today looked almost like a healthy cham just a little bit of yellow. No signs of MBD. Also UVB coil bulbs that were completely used up and well useless.

So far they are both very attentive and are more than eager to drink and or eat. We have them set up in our quarantine room/bathroom. Same one we used for Rhino (thanks for taking him Laurie he looks great and i miss him.) New UVB stuffs and set up on the MistKing. We took them outside for some natural sun light today while setting up their new enclosures. Things are looking better but need to get them a bit more hydrated and fat. We believe they are Sambava.... but would be happy to hear ideas.

And here are some pics of these darling little girls.

My male panther has the same coloring as the second female pictured and he's an Ambanja. That could mean nothing though lol

But it could be the locale. I have been running around all day trying to get plants, hoses, light ballasts, and food for BBQ tomorrow and setting up enclosures. I am just starting to do research on coloration. Thanks for your input. :)

My boyfriends samabava female is a light orange with darker orange bars that turn black. She can also be just a plain Terra cotta orange color.

Wait a minute, are Rhino & i invited to the BBQ? Oh yes I have to bring hubby.:D The girls are nice, placing them will be a piece of cake. good job as usual.

Of course you are welcome to come and your husband and all your chams. :) We could even go and get some nice fresh feeders from our very own local organic breeder :p.

We still have a beautiful little Veiled boy that needs a place also. But i am very sure that these guys would be easy. I really am amazed at how gorgeous these female panthers are. They have very interesting color changes.

Well its been a week. We took everyone out yesterday for a health inspection and cage cleaning. The little girls are looking great. F2 is 33g and F1 is 34 g now. They are perky and attentive and very much dislike me. But i am trying to win them over with a nice batch of hornworms we just got. All in all they both are looking very healthy and happy :)

It is amazing to me how beautiful the little girls are. The boys always get all the credit it seems like. These little girls have a huge variety of fabulous tans, whites, and blacks and they both have smatterings of blue or red that is placed along their cheeks like makeup. Absolutely fantastic, i really like the girls alot.
