I have tried everything and my female still hasnt laid her eggs!! Actually...Im trying the last thing I know tonight and into tomorrow!! Ive placed a cover over her cage and have been givin her privacy...Now tomorrow how long do I leave her covered?? Also other techniques needed please!!!

Yes we have a 8 inch pot in her cage and we also put her in a 11 gallon garbage can with 12 inches of dirt...and she was mated on or around June 20th!

No...I'm using SuperSoil and Eco-Earth 50/50 mix...Ive heard about the sand...that'll be my next step I think!

It could take her a little longer to lay eggs. Mine did after 4 1/2 weeks, but some lay 6 weeks after mating. Mine just started digging lots of tunnels and ended up laying at the bottom of her 8 inch tub. Just gotta wait.

eggs

Ive had females go 6 weeks... thought they were egg bound.. best thing to do is leave her in her cage.. alone.. with little to no disturbances... i have used playsand for the past 14 yrs.. nice and moist... not wet..not dry.. just clumpable...put her container taward the back corner of her cage.. and cover that side.. leave the front and other sides open for air flow and to help keep the heat down..to answer the other question on breeding age.. 9 months would be the earliest by any means... i usually breed my (verg) females around 10-11 months.. egg barring females take on alot of stress.watch for sighns of her normal behavior changing.. if shes not eating or roaming her cage more then usual like around the bottom and such.. shes getting close..within a few days.. ..hope any of this info helps:rolleyes::rolleyes:
