Female Panther: egg questions

Tried to find a similar thread to answer my questions but here it goes
Sorry in advanced...its a long thread, but I want to make sure I take care of her.

My ~9 month old female panther Zenon just layer a couple of (infertile) eggs on Tuesday. I think the count was 14. Today I came home and there were about 4 more. (PS. eggs were at the bottom of the enclosure)

Extra info:
She had started digging a hole: not in the lay bin I provided but in the pothos pot hanging in her screen enclosure. I don't know what happened but about a week ago the hook from the pothos broke and the pot fell (so thankful I was home and saw she was on a branch and not in the plant, she's okay) but I had to get a new pot and replant the pothos... so unfortunately her hard work was for nothing :/

Questions:
-What is the number range of eggs a female panther will lay in one clutch?

-Will they lay eggs all at once or like Zenon did, over a couple of days?

-Do you think maybe she was too tired to dig another hole?

-How long is the average time frame in-between clutches?

It sounds like she was interrupted. I would leave her alone for a day or so, especially if she is just dropping them. When my females begin searching for a spot to lay or are digging, I leave them alone until I am sure that she is done. As for clutch size, it can very a lot. I have seen anywhere from 16-30+. She does still look a little big for a girl who just laid, but its hard to tell.

Here's how it should go...the female,etc may dig several holes over a couple of days but should settle on one and dig it until she is happy with it. She should then. Then turn around butt down (usually in the evening) and lay her eggs, bury them and tamp it down and return to the branches hungry and thirsty. Dropping eggs is often not a good thing.

With panther chameleons its hard to say how often they will lay a clutch. It seems like some morphs lay more often than others in my experience.

Btw...When a chameleon is digging its important that she doesn't see you watching her.
