Female Panther digging

so i have a female panther nosy be which i was told is roughly 11 to 12 months old now. (but who knows the guy thought she was a he)

Anyways she is kept in a planted encolsure with about 2 inchs of cocofiber and then hydroponic balls below that. I noticed today she was digging which i thought was od she definetly does not look nor feal gravid (yes i know she can lay infertile eggs)

my question is have anyone ever had there panther digging just to dig? im going to put a laying bin in there with her today and if she wants to dig or maybe she does have some eggs in her she can.

I dunno about digging just to dig, but I bred my female panther a month ago and she just laid eggs on thursday. When she was gravid, she didnt seem so, and i could barely feel the eggs when i palpated her. When she laid them, she wasnt much skinnier. I'm saying this only in response to your cham not seeming gravid. I have never heard of a cham just digging, but urs seems right about that age that she may start laying.

ya i know me neither, it seamed od im going to introduce a laying bin just incase, and see what happens.

She was more of a rescue when i got her, hence why i question the age and i never saw his setup or other chameleons just pictures when i recieved her she was very underweight and dehydrated. She has since recoverd very nicely.

By the way im not new to chameleon keeping or breeding. Im just hopeing the guy i got her from didnt have her housed with a male.
