Hello all..... First post. I have a female Jackson Xanth and was just curious to see what everyone thought about her and her enclosure. Also, I would like to hear from people currently keeping Jacksons to see what you have found to be most successful as far as temps, humidity, suppliments etc. Let me know what you think..... BTW, my son has named her Maggie.

Being a montane chameleon high humidity is paramount with a enclosure in the mid 70's and a basking spot no hotter then 84 max. I would try and keep the humidity no lower then 70% at all times and of course proper size insects.
Supplement the insects feed them the calcium and the vitamins Montane species are sensitive to all supplementation. I feed the crickets calcium 2 to 3 times a week and the vitamins once a week . If keep outside I cut out the vitamins until they come in for the winter. Hope this helped.

It does help, thanks. I have been dusting crickets 4 times a week w/ calcium(2 days with D3, 2 W/O D3),and vitamins on Sunday. Is this too much? The crickets are well fed too. There is a picture in my gallery of my set up, but can't seem to get a picture to post. Any other input is appreciated.

I went to your gallery couldn't see Maggie though. The enclosure is good I would put a tree branch in there with some horizontal branches with different thickness so she can rest and change her grip thats why I said tree branch they tapper off the further out you go. I would not dust the insects at all with a montane species just feed it to the insects and no D3 when they go outside they can overdose on D3 and vitamins.
You can go to photobucket and create a account and upload pictures that way you'll get the hang of it. You wont have to downsize your pictures that way.
