My male mounted her and did motions so I separated the male and stuck him in my house plant for now. I dot know if I should let them mate or not? What do you all think?

Absolutely not.. keep them seperate, she is already gravid so there is no use at this point. Just make sure she has a place to lay and some privacy.

Don't forget...despite her being gravid she still needs a quiet acclimation with lots of misting on and off throughout the day and feed sparingly. It's always tempting to feed them as much as they'll eat when you open the box but sometimes it's not the best idea. :)

Good luck!

She is a tad skinny but doesnt look terrible. Seems like she is nice and alert. Give her lots of water, feed her well and make sure to give lots of privacy so she will lay those eggs!

Good luck and keep us posted!

She's a little skinny but nothing but a week with me and he will be back with some fat on them bones! Maybe I will have to buy an incubator soon?

thats so sad that you got her sent to you prego.. imagine the stress she went through! i hope she lays with no complications if shes eating then she prob isnt that close to laying so that's good! and when your male mounted her she didnt get agressive? my female turns black and opens her mouth and hisses if she even sees a glimps of a male and shes prego right now

You will def want to get ready for the eggs. A nice size container to hold vermiculite. Use as much vermiculite as possible. It will be a small clutch around 10 eggs but you dont want to use a small container because the vermiculite will dry quicker if you use less and if you have to keep adding water then that can become a problem. You will want to keep the eggs between 65 and 70 so you may need to use a "mini fridge incubator" if you cant keep them between those temps. A little higher than 70 wont hurt but most of us incubate Kinyongia eggs between 65 and 70.

Right now I have this big metal bowl in the cage (only thing that could fit) and she has been on the rim of the bowl for a while now even though I have plants drapped into it.
The female didn't show any stress signs or didn't try to bite him. She just kind of ignored him as he was doing his thing.

That should work. They wont dig very deep. At least none of my Kinys did. Anything you can do to give her privacy is best. A sheet or something to block view from anything and everything would be best. If you go in to mist or feed peek in first. If she is digging dont even mess with her. Wait until lights out and check to see what she is doing.

The bowl is around 6-8 inches deep maybe more. Right now I have cardboard on both sides and I have a towel covering the front.

After seeing your female i highly doubt mine is gravid... She does not show eggs like yours at all. So that leads me to believe her digging was merely an escape attempt or something of that sort. I have not observed any digging since.
