Female ambilobe with protruding hip

Hi all. I had one of my female ambilobe panthers out in the sun today and noticed that her right rear hip is protruding pretty severely. She does not seem skinny and she is eating and drinking well. It does not seem to bother and she does not react to me touching it. I have just never noticed it before. Is this something I should be concerned about? Here are a couple of pics of the hip i am talking about.

P.S. - She HATES my iphone, so excuse her being a bit pissy.

hip

I may not be seeing it from the right perspective, but could it be an egg? She is displaying gravid colors. Just a thought.

I am pretty sure it is not an egg. She just laid 36 eggs a week ago. Also it is sharp, pointy, and hard like bone. Here is another pic with the protrusion circled so you can see better what I am talking about.

Oh, and I think that the gravid coloring was just her angry coloring. The first picture was taken just a few minutes prior and you can see that she does not have the black coloring in that picture.

if it was a broken or displaced bone she'd definitely have trouble moving it and be in pain... especially when you touch her. maybe a lymph node..?
can you post a pic where you can see both of her hips simultaneously?
from above say...
it would be better for comparison.
