feet rubbing

has anybody ever had a chameleon who rubs his feet or claws on branches or plants?
he does it quite often now
and hes doesn't do it just before he sheds
we've had him for 3 months now
i'm assuming hes around 5-6 months old
he gets rep cal w/vitamin d3 3 times a week (switch it for miner-all o 2 or 3 times a month)
herptivite once every other week
he eats around 10 crickets a day
we just bought him a 260 gallon reptarium
that has 2 large umbrella plants and 1 pothos plant in it
(we're going to put a jade plant in there sometime this week also)
2 reptile vines
and a few branches that have been soaked and cleaned
he doesn't show any signs of mbd
hes grown to be very strong
i don't know why he does it?

The bottoms of their feet shed...so maybe they are just bugging him like your skin would if you had a sunburn and it was about to peel?

you would think
but he does it all the time

no one else has had their chameleon do this?

Yes, our Veiled Pasquelle is probably about 5-6 months old aswell and we see him rub his back foot on his vines, we've seen him do it more lately, we just moved him into a new 100 gallon flexarium. Hes also not shedding, so what my guess is is that hes "marking" or "scenting" his home.
Feet Rubbing... debunked. lol :D
