I would look up what roaches are legal in your country, as for sites I am not really experienced with buying feeders besides crickets online, I have a local pet store that I go for wax worms and such. Good luck to you!

i hate to say it, but the only place i know of (locally) that i can find silk or horn worms is one of those big name stores. 2 of 3 locations in my area always have both, 1 carries one or the other at any given time.

and i believe you're correct about roaches. mantids (all but one i think) and sticks are also out

The place I get my horn worms from only has them the odd time .they haven't had them in 3 weeks now and my guy is getting sick of supervworm just wish we had more choices here .I would like to get ome silks I have never had any yet I just don't get y it's so hard to get feeders here . I would like to try different feeders like mantis and stuff

if you find anybody that has any mantids, let me know. a friend of mine has been looking for those as well. and it wouldn't hurt me to have a few on tap as well ;)

Sounds good and I don't no if this is true or what but I was looking on line and home depot and some plant places carry mantis eggs and stuff for your garden are there's safe ?

yes they are. these are the only legal one in canada, but they are cannibalistic. if you want to get a colony of those going to the point of feeding them off to adult chams... well, you're better off not wasting your time. if you're just going to be feeding off the babies to very young chams, then its worth it.

not every place has them, and its usually only in the spring until they sell out. i know for a fact that home depot (all 3), lowes and both ronas are all sold out in my area and arent getting more.

This blog entry lists some of the many places to buy feeders online:
https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/sandrachameleon/171-where-buy-feeders-online.html

I urged one of my local pet shops (the one that sells the most reptiles) for over a year to start selling butterworms etc (and got other reptile owners to do the same) and now they not only sell two types of crickets, supers, mealworms, and wax, but also butterworms, silkworms, hornworms (two weeks notice required for these ones), and fruit flies. They'll order in other things as requested. They are making money. And now locals can buy variety without having to order in big quantities.

mantids can usually be bought at local garden nurseries in the spring. Even home depot sometimes has them.

Also check with your local reptile club, spider keepers club, etc. THese folks often have a couple of breeders of various things, including roaches that you wont find at a local pet shop.
