Getting a veiled in 6 months, and I need a good solid answer. I've been doing tons of research and I cant find the perfect answer: How many times do I feed a 3-4 month old chameleon? I know atleast 10 crickets a day with D3, but when he grows up do I feed every other day?! Thanks in advance. I just want to know everything so I can give a perfect life for my cham! Love this community and Thanks in advance! :)

you feed him as much as he can eat early in the day. you do not feed with d3 everyday. d3 and multivitamins 2x a month on opposite weeks of each other (example: first saturday multi, following saturday d3, then multi again, and so on...) If you want the cham to thrive you'll need more than just crickets as well. silkworms, hornworms, butterworms, roaches, bottle flies, superworms(as treats), are all great.

Can I mix up his diet with fruits and veggies, or just fruits? Like oranges, grapes, or lettuce, tomatoes?

Also, early in the day do I feed, then when I get back from school (7 hours after feeding) Do I feed again?

I don't think you would feed again. Feeding them in the morning allows them time to bask and digest their food properly. I personally wouldn't feed mine later in the day. But I am no expert D:

Thanks a ton for the advice man!
Im newer to chameleons and I feel you never stop learning about them. I feel like an overprotected mom who is always monitoring and making sure he has what he needs lol. but this forum is awesome to look up things. If you go to the resources tab there's a ton of tips on how to care for them. Super helpful and might answer questions you haven't even thought of yet. Good luck! :D

haha so true man. I feel like caring for an advanced reptile will help you down the road. This takes a big form of responsibility that most kids don't really understand! Thanks for the tips! Super friendly guy :D
