I am just looking for suggestions on how to get my cham to adjust to cup feeding? She eats mealies out of a shallow cup fine, but she won't eat crickets unless it is free range. i would like to get her to adjust to cup feeding with crickets too, since it gets rather annoying finding escapees. I've tried leaving a cup both near her favorite spot and near the spot where the mealworm dish is, but neither works. I've also tried putting mealies in the cup with the crickets and it doesn't work either. She seems to be frightened by more than one cricket unless they're roaming around her enclosure, then she stalks them fine to an extent.
I saw a vid on youtube in which a stick was placed upright in a cup to leave a climbing area for the insects to make them more appealing to the cham, should I maybe try other feeders to see if she prefers them?
