i know that you are suppose to feed your chame everyday, but how do you guys do it? do you drive to the store to buy enough cricket for the week or do you order the box of cricket online?

i head to the local pet shop and buy enough crickets for the week.. sunday is cricket day. make sure to have another shop in mind in case one runs out

I order online in bulk like 1000, starting breeding my own. Added a dubia colony and silkworms and hornworms and super worms You want to offer a variety of foods and gut load the food really well. A forum member on here named sandrachameleon has some great gut loading articles on here you could look it up, very informative:)

I get mine about 75-100 at a time... mainly cause Im afraid of them dieing off if I get to many at a time and I dont have the biggest thing to keep them in. I have two places around me where I get mine from also.. so once I run out I just go pick up some more. =p

We usually buy boxes of 500 at a time. We have 2 chameleons, a frog and a green anole that we feed crickets to so it's good to have a supply.

We also buy silks, superworms and butter/wax worms on occasion.

I used to buy 500 / 500 split of 3/8s and 2/3s
Now I buy 5k a week and piles of other stuff LOL.
Fun fun.

i buy boxes of 1,500 of 4 week olds and the big ones from one of the stores here they hook me up with their prices so i get them good and cheap plus i'm hooking them up with chams when mine are ready to sell. i usually go there for my lights and other stuff too cause like i said they hook me up with what they pay so thats always a plus.

I buy 2000-3000 in bulk from mullberry farms once a month or so. And I have a dubia colony, silks, horns, butters, reptiworms. Etc... We offer a huge vairety for our crew.

That depends on your cham. Size, age, eating habits. When my male was 3-6 months old, he could eat a dozen crickets every day. Now that he is a year old. He doesnt eat much at all. But I also offer more types now. But my females are eating machines. They will eat 8 insects or so everyday. But all my males are more picky. It all depends on the individual I think. I dont think there is a "Must eat this much a day rule". Just let them eat till they are full.
