Feeding Pachnoda Grubs?

Has anyone fed their adult chams these? They are classed as a treat due to their fat content. But the grubs head worries me, could they bite a cham when caught.

When left to pupate, they turn to fruit beetles.

Given most grubs will eat the shoot tissue of turf grass I would er on the side of caution as they could be highly exposed to pesticides.

Other then that I don't see why not.. try looking up the toxicity level of the grub or beetle online.

Ones in UK are sold at pet stores, pretty pricey, you only get 4-5 for £5-£6

Yep they can be fed. I've had them but couldn't feed them:( I believe you have to squash their heads first.

No need to crush their heads. My cham won't eat them but my monitor swallow them whole without so much as a bite.
