Feeding new Cham

I was wondering if I should leave the new baby's crickets in the cup overnight?

I personally would take them out overnight. Not because of them getting out and harming the chameleon but because by that point they won't have any supplement dusting on them anymore and it is always better to feed them to your chameleon after they have been eating the gutload.

Leaving them in once and awhile probably won't hurt but I wouldn't do it on a regular basis just because like Nick said the crickets will not be as gut loaded as they could be.

I actually left them last night because I did not work and would not be up until early afternoon and since it was his first night I thought he may eat early today. However when I got up almost all of them were dead! I heard from his breeder and he had been free ranging for his food so I released a dozen or so into his cage and he hunted them down! I am going to try to train him to cup feed so I can keep track of what he eats though.
