feeding my fall decor to my roaches

just what part of the pumpkin do I feed them - I feel silly asking this- it seems the "guts" look more tasty - but is that the part I feed, or the "meat" part for pies- also, can I freeze it ? I also have many squash to feed them - the farmers give us pumpkins after fall for our hogs ( but we did not do them this yr- so I have many pumpkins all organic ) I just hate to toss out good roach food

I'm looking at using my pumpkin carving left overs for my bugs... Yes I still do that. It's fun. I'm going to carve a cham.
