Feeding cup issues

So i have a feeding cup in my chams cage, but the crickets keep climbing oit. does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep this from happening?

Get a different cup. Crickets cant climb smooth plastic unless they are pinheads. The only other trick if you have odd spiderman crickets is to put a 1" line of olive oil around the inner lip of the cup. That will keep even climbing roaches in.

I think that they are spiderman crickets! This a long smooth plastic cup thst is clear. thay even climb up whith water in the cup from the mist that hits it.

Yep, smooth sides, and I put a little shredded carrot and greens in mine to entertain the crickets until dinner. It is still O.K. if one or two jump out, as your cham will enjoy hunting as well! ;)

Use a big bowl instead of what must be a small cup. Best to use a solid dark colour (nothing clear) with at least 3 inch high sides.
or, remove cricket hind legs

Also if there is any residue from calcium dust etc on the sides of the bowl it is enough for them to get a grip.

How would i use a bowl? I dont want to drownd the crickets because i cant let the water run through.

dont aim the water at the bowl ;) place bowl under a favourite branch / perch area. If your cage isnt sturdy enough to attach heavier bowls, use a plastic bowl instead of a ceramic one. Plastic you could also put holes in the bottom or cut out a piece and replace with screen.

I used a zip tie on the screen and put a hook on a bird crock (twist and lock cup but took the mounting bracket off) to hang it. I also drilled a few very small holes in the bottom for drainage in the event any water got in it.
