I'd put this in the chameleon food section, but I don't think it would get seen. I'm wanting to get super worms, butter worms, praying mantis ooths, and dubia roaches. I want to get a pretty good amount of each, and figure there is someone on here that has or knows where to get them. Also, I'm thinking about starting to raise all of the above, and would love some incite. Thanks

Forum members usually have pretty good deals also, so check out the classifieds. Ghans is pretty great (sponser) and west coast roaches has a great reputation (sponser) they also do steals on online auctions on their facebook.

I'll have to check out west coast roaches. That's the one thing I haven't found the best deals on yet. So far I found Carolina Mantis, Chinese Mantis, Superworms, Butterworms, and hornworms for pretty good prices. Well, I found 15 hornworms in a kit to grow them to large for $12. I don't know if anyone has seen anything better, but I'm all ears.

I obviously want to breed hornworms given their expense. Given this fact, are they harder to breed than most feeders?

That blog was clutch. Thanks SCZ! It looks like it might be quite a bit intensive, but I'll give it a shot.

Thanks Sandra, between the info and links from chameleon news and pigglets blog, I think I've got a pretty good start.

I have some hornworm moths about ready now. I can pm you when I have eggs if you want. I sell them cheap when I have extra and you could use them to start your breeding project.
