Feeders in my bed!!

So I crawl into bed last night and slide my arm under my pillow. Instantly I feel something crawl across my arm. I get up turn on the light and sure enough it's one of my large crickets.

I go into my office where the crickets are stored and notice this!!

That's two layers of screen, WTH!! I don't think many escaped because there are still lots from my 100+ order. Then tonight my girlfriend is making the bed and guess what? Another cricket is hanging out in the same spot. I grabbed it and threw it into the dragons tank.

I have now moved all crickets into 10 gallon glass vivs.

Why are they going toward our bed? If there are some escapees still on the loose how long will they live and will they reproduce?

Now i'm all stressed out.

This happens to me. I keep my crickets in large plastic tanks with lids but they still get out. Good escape artists. The worst thing was when I found a mealworm in my bed, thank god that has only happened the once. A cricket in my trainers, that has happened a few times! Argh!

Uggh! No! I couldn't bear it! I got in bed last night and felt something crawl across my face. Wasn't anything there though - I put the light on twice to check! Just a stray hair I think! When I am cleaning out the crix I always have something handy to smoosh any that dare to escape, lol!:D

I have had crickets crawling on me while in bed on more than one occasion. I have no ieda why they want to go to the bed....

I find escapees always end up in the bathroom... I assume they are going for water...?

Yeah thats what Ive found, they always go to my bathroom, specifically my shower. Whats worse that having one in your bed is waking up, getting dressed, going to school, and having one crawl down your leg!!!

Howdy,

Which member was it that mentioned having a Superworm crawl into his left ear and then an hours later, out his right ear? :D
