What do you mean by beef up make him gain weight?

Giving a good variety of healthy and well fed/cared for feeders is the best way to ensure your chameleon is getting the nutrition needed. If your chameleon is too thin and you feel you’re feeding him enough, a vet visit with fecal to check for parasites may be in order.
