So my 8 month old sambava has decided he doesn't want to eat anymore, He hasn't eaten anything of note for a week. I don't know what's going on  maybe he's pissed cause I went to Florida for a week without him and he had a babysitter? But I figured he would have gotten over it by now. All he wants to do is roam outside of his cage, check out the fish tank, look out the window etc., he's become obsessed with certain things outside of his cage. He won't eat ANY feeders not even his special treats. I might also mention he is very active and helathy looking, drinking a lot as always, and really shows no signs of any sickness... just won't eat????? Any suggestions?

did you try any flying insects like moths or dragon flies??? They usually find it hard to resist things that fly.

Would getting some from outside be ok? Not too concerned about pesticides. But parasites? Otherwise where can I buy either of those lol?

My guy will always eat flies! You can order blue bottle flies from lots of places. I like them because they are a little bigger. You can try to catch a few to try to see if that works. It worked for me, my guy was off everything except flies and now he is back to crickets. Some people also use bees, that might be worth trying. Good luck.
