Feeder and Supplements

You're also going to want to buy a calcium supplement that has vitamin D3 in it as well. Also, mealworms aren't really the best feeders for chams. You can use them as an occasional treat, but they have hard shells which are hard to digest and are not as nutritious as crickets and other feeders. So just be careful how many mealworms you feed your baby.

the second one had d3 i believe and yea i know about the mealworms, and when should i dust the feeders with which supplements each day.

How you supplement depends on many factors, such as type of chameleon, age, gendre, what you gutload with, what feeders you use, how often the chameleon is outside, what type of UVB bulb you use, brands of supplements, etc. No one can tell you exactly how to do it in your situation.

For example, I usually dont dust silkworms, but it depends on what else is on the menu and which chameleon its getting eaten by.
I use plain phos free calcium dusted lightly on EVERY cricket and most every superworm. I use calcium with D3 about twice a month instead. And a vitamin about twice a month. I do not bother to dust stick insects, moths, roaches, cabbage loppers, flies, butterworms, terrestiral isopods.
