Fecal tests

Are these typically done at a vet locally or can they be sent overnight to a reputable cham vet. I only ask because I have had to take some of my other herps to vets in the area, I have gone all over, and they are usually ridiculously expensive and have never once solved a problem. I usually end up finding the solutions on forums.

I reccomend a vet that is familiar with reptiles. I asked one who is closer to me that does dogs/cats and he wouldn't do it because he wasn't familiar with lizard cooties.

You can also do your own fecals. There is a lot on info on this forum discussing it. Member Dave Weldon has posted a wonderful essay on the subject.
