I see alot of people using pc fans laying ontop of the enclosure blowing up to help circulate air up through the enclosure. I did add one fan on top but was wondering if it would be ok to have one mounted at the bottom set realy low blowing in aswell. This one would not be on all the time maybe a few hours a day
I’m doing exactly the same, but mine are running 24/7, since then I’m not having any excess water anymore (bottom is bioactive)
I actually just did this about a month ago. I didn't realize it was actually a thing, although both are controlled and connected to the pc. she enjoys it when the fans give her the natural breeze and make her leafs shake. i have a glass terrarium and a veiled chameleon
Pc fan would create a draft, the air flow minimally and acceptable. There’re also “special fan for reptiles” but they’re just fancy pc fans. It’s true about drafts, but that’s with a more volumineus airflow.
I also faced overheating, especially when playing heavy games. As a result, I installed fans everywhere - on top, bottom, sides, to improve air circulation as much as possible. This really helped to reduce the temperature, and the computer began to work much more stably. Now I play regular games or go to get casino bonuses from time to time,
gamblizard does not pull anything at all, so my fans are just gathering dust. I do not even remember the last time I heard their noise. I will need to somehow remember the old forgotten past.
