My uncles panther cham keeps falling off of plants etc. I haven't witnessed it but he told me. He purchased it off a friend the other day and they said they had the same problem, it got taken to the vets and they gave it the all clear. He said that he has handled it and it feels quite strong on his arm. Why does he keep falling?

Howdy,

While it is still fresh in the mind of the previous keeper, have you uncle gather-up the usual info from: https://www.chameleonforums.com/how-ask-help-66/. There may be some history of their husbandry that may give us a clue. I'm particularly wondering about age, supps, foods, lighting. If they have photos of his previous setup, that might be helpful too.

How long has he had this problem?

Where in the world is he located?

Well he has it still in one of those exo-terra glass vivs with the ventilation thing in the lid. Previous owners at 1st didnt have UV until it went vets etc.

Did it get any supplements with D3 in when it was not getting UVB? Was it outside at all?

Are its arms and legs straight between the shoulder and elbow, knee and ankle?

It may be that it is suffering from a calcium imbalance.

Can you post a picture of it please?

I have one picture not that great

I think it was recieving suppliments but no UV at 1st until the original owner took it to the vets. I'll have to ask what brand he is using etc.
