Falling Chameleon

My panther is around 9-10 months old, and is very friendly and very active. Lately I've noticed he has been falling/sliding down the sides of the cage while climbing (maybe once a week that I've seen). I know that this can be a sign of MBD, but he shows no other signs of it. I dust his crickets with calcium no D3 daily, and with D3 every two weeks. I also give him dubia roaches.
One theory I have is that he is growing very fast and maybe his grip isn't keeping up with it? Idk if that's something that happens at his age.

I agree. You may need to look and make sure that he has all of his claws. Once they become a certain size and especially if they aren't equipped with all of their claws, climbing screen can be daunting.

Just make sure you have enough and some suitable size branch ,vines or sticks for him to grab on , so he can have better route to climb instead of using the screen falling and sliding down.

That and make sure your uvb is still throwing off sufficient uvb also incase you forget by accident 6 months for reptisun and 9 months to a year for Arcadia unless you have solar meter and can check it

Mine has been doing this since today, took him to the vet two weeks ago and he said he was fine, could it be a calcium problem?
