F1 x F1 hoehnelli pairing

Both the male and females are attractive examples of hoehnelli
I've raised them both from birth
Male is mostly blue in coloration with bloodred eyes and throat and the female is a red headed. She looks green most of the time but can color up. Its in the 60's so they are dark in the pictures

This red head variant is rather interesting the way it changes color. Haven't seen that in many hoehnelli

Is yours Kenyan locality? I wish we knew more information if there is indeed more diversity within Kenya.

The ones that you see imported are from what I've read from Nyahururu. They have very smooth casque scales and I'd say there's a lot of variation in just in the ones from Nyahururu...specially in the males.

Love this species! Congratulations on the pairing. I had a wild caught female give birth a little while ago and have raised up a couple of the babies. Never have seen that reddish color on the casque super beautiful!
