I'm interested in seeing pictures of your females.

Especially red bar, blue bar ambilobes, as well as nosy be, ambanja and all the other locales!

please post pics, thanks you!

i agree with both of you guys.. when the females are young they show subtle differences with a lot more color..but as they mature they tend to all look the same like chad said..however a mature virgin female will have a lot more color displayed at rest.

Are we trying to prove something. I think this is a good idea to compare panther females to see differences and similarities. Here is my Ambilobe female. She is a year and a half and is a non virgin. Her sire is fireball which I will include a pic and her mother is a high yellow redbar.

yea i was just saying about the first picture, because the two chams together could be influencing each others colors, no harm done

that purple is amazing!

Thanks. Both you guys also have some great looking females. I sure am happy with her. She was supposed to be a male but the mishap got me a great discount so I am pleased and the breeders were more than helpful and willing to correct the problem. Honestly I am glad it happend and glad I went with who I did. Oh and congrats to chromachameleons on the fine ladies.

Obviously female to female will be different… But if I posted a picture of 5 different females from different locals you REALLY think you could tell me what they are? Or what about an unmarked WC shipment… You are saying that you can tell me which is a Nosy, which is an Ambilobe, ECT… I think not. However if you are talking about the subtle color differences between them then sure… They have that… But past that… They are the same.

Chad you have a point. I would go as far to say that it is possible to see differences from east coast and west coast but naming the exact locale of a female panther is very difficult. Though I do not think that all females look the same, they all have very similar colors and patterns but all unique in their own way. Generally you can tell certain locales by their head shape and sometime overall build, but it is basically impossible to know their exact locale, IMHO
