Eyes problems

He's in china remember....people dont have pets there. No need for vets really.
There certainly is a huge NEED for vets. It's pretty much like all of the third world, including Africa. There isn't enough education and funding to adequately train vets, and the people don't always have enough money to afford Western vets.
But that doesn't stop people from keeping pets (humans have been keeping companion animals for a lot longer than Western veterinary medicine has been around), and it doesn't stop those pets from needing veterinary care.

I think what you meant to say was, "He's in China remember - it's difficult to get experienced veterinary care there - particularly for reptiles".

This is misunderstanding

There is a lot of doctor in China, but only for dogs and cats.We have pets(dogs and cats).Because reptiles pet is not VERY POPULAR in China ,that why we didn't have enough professional vets for reptiles in China.

But I believe more and more Chinese will begin to feed reptiles pets. And more and more professinal guys will appear.

Thanks a lot

Thank you for you information hereby.

If its sunken it might mean he needs more water, if you havent already, try the shower thing. Also,id get him out of the glass cage, itd be best to get him a screened one.

60?...do you realize how big china is...thats like saying we have 1 in the US

Off topic yeah i know but...as big as china is there is only a small percentage of the population in china keeping pets now...the rest are still trying to catch up. IE. animals not just for food anymore.(sorry I know how that sounds)

Keep us up to date on your Chams conditions...I am sure that if the vet you go to doesn't know what to do, maybe one of the reptile vets that visits this forum can personally talk with the vet you are seeing to give some advice.

After all all medical professionals are practicing medicine...you only get better with more practice.

Good Luck

The quote I used ("Nearly 60 veterinarians practicing throughout China") did not mean that there were only 60 vets in China but said that only 60 attended the workshops.
